| This research examines the relationship among artificial intelligence, national productivity, and economic growth through a systematic review of empirical studies conducted between 2015 and 2025. Focusing on artificial intelligence as the independent variable, national productivity as the mediating variable, and economic growth as the dependent variable, the data from 20 studies from reputable databases were analyzed. The results indicate that artificial intelligence, through automation and data-driven decision-making, has increased total factor productivity in developed countries by up to 0.9 percent and gross domestic product by up to 0.3 percent. In developing economies, these effects have been limited to 0.5 percent in efficiency. Digital infrastructure, human capital, and regulation were identified as key components. Nevertheless, the delay in the macroeconomic effects of artificial intelligence, known as the productivity paradox, has reduced the productivity growth rate in some regions by up to 0.5 percent. Policy recommendations include investment in digital infrastructure, workforce training, and the formulation of transparent regulations to strengthen the adoption of artificial intelligence. This research provides a framework for better understanding the relationship among artificial intelligence, national productivity, and economic growth in developing economies. |
