| This study aims to analyze the role of export incentives in export development with emphasis on managerial factors. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical with a causal approach, conducted via a survey method. The statistical population of the research consists of managers of small and medium-sized export companies in the northwest region of Iran, from among whom 158 individuals were selected based on the Morgan table through simple random sampling. The data collection instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire, whose validity was confirmed through face validity and factor analysis using the KMO index, and whose reliability was confirmed with Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics; descriptive analyses were conducted using SPSS version 21, and structural equation modeling in LISREL 8.8 was used for the inferential section and hypothesis testing. The findings of path analysis showed that export incentives have a positive and significant effect on export development, export knowledge, export commitment, and management's export perception. Furthermore, each of the variables of export knowledge, export commitment, and management's export perception also significantly affects export development. The results indicate that export incentives, in addition to their direct effect, also significantly strengthen export development through the mediation of these three managerial variables. Finally, based on the obtained results, practical recommendations are provided for improving supportive policies and strengthening the export performance of companies. |
